Feral Cat Photo Of The Day - Field Hunter
Scouring the field, looking for bugs, field mice, or just about anything to eat - this feral tabby cat is concentrating on some unseen little morsel.
Hunting is the most dangerous activities for feral cats. In rural settings like this, they may become prey to coyotes. In urban settings, feral dogs kill them.
There are just no easy meals for feral cats.

They hunt so well. Cats, dogs and who knows what else have been dumped in the desert here in Nevada due to the recession and foreclosures. We have the one of the highest unemployment rates & it's getting worse. I tweet local critters for adoption and I have some up on my blog today. Thank you for your work.
