Mother-Daughter Cat Fight

Ok, it's not really a fight it's just a game, but it's hard to tell from one frame. On the left is Dora the Explorer, mom to Squeaky, the harlequin/tuxedo kitty on the right. They are a blur of motion right now and having a really good time.

Feral Kittens, Cats, and Toys

A little play experiment with cat toys and feral cats... I tossed out a couple of cat toys in the yard to see what would happen.

Fran is the first to move in. Okay, technically she isn't a feral cat but a rescued as yet unadopted kitty. But she loves these toys. Soon she has help.

"Little Tabby," definitely a feral, moves in to help Fran with the fun. These toys were provided by Patti "Mewmart" Arnold of Etsy Catcalls - thank you.  ...Eventually we moved to a porch to continue the action. Remember the sickly-looking feral kitten from the July 28 post (post before last)?

Siamese Fran With Toy

Siamese rescue kitty Fran just loves this toy!  I need to get some more photos, though.

So here is the story: I got this package from Diana in NY of Diana Designs NY and Stylin Dogs Boutique. It contained three cute handmade cat toys with a note:

In experiments so far, the kitties love them. It's been raining so much that it has been hard to get photos but I will work on it. :)

We Heart Dora The Explorer Kitten

Little Dora The Explorer kitten got an early Valentine's Day Present!  Dora seems to love her handmade heart, a gift to the kitties from Etsy artist Catcalls ...one of several hearts from the artist, actually.

Dora gets a little cuddle time in with her special Valentine's Heart cat toy before deciding to wrestle it out of my view. Oh, and the kitties will be enjoying a couple of red cat toy hearts, too!

I'm sure Dora will share with her little kitty friends - they all love to play with these toys ...and a happy early Valentine's Day will be had by all.  Thanks to Catcalls. :)

By the way, the artist-creator of these cat toys has a very entertaining blog on blogger, too. You should look it up sometime: It's called Art & Sew Forth.

Gadget the Fearless Feral enjoys a Snakey Mouse. This was her first opportunity with this homemade cat toy and she found it very interesting. We now have 3 of them to work with, courtesy of CatCalls (the designer/creator of Snakey Mice).
