Gizmo's Half-Nap Perch
Gizmo has found a perch for a nap...sort of. This is the old stake rack on the farm truck. And he was sleeping, but then I interrupted him by taking a photo. He didn't mind too much, though. Gizmo is a friendly but very shy tabby cat. He likes me, at least, and after the photo was over, he went back to sleep. His perch does look rather precarious, though. However, he doesn't seem to mind that, either.

Resting Siamese Feral
Resting but I think peeking a little just to make sure I'm not getting too close; this feral Siamese-ish kitty is taking a little after-dinner nap. Sort of.

Little Tabby Nap
It hasn't been very sunny lately, but at least when it's dry one has to find a place to nap wherever one can. So Tiny the Tabby has found this spot on a storage bin. I guess it's comfy enough for general contentment.
I called this kitty Tiny because he's small even though he's a fully grown adult. I guess that was just in his genes. He's pretty quiet, too - but he never misses a feeding.

Napping Orange Fluff
Sitting atop one of our bucket shelters, a very fluffy orange-ginger tuxedo tom gets a little nap while it isn't raining. There are many hazards to feral cat life but all things considered, life could be a lot worse. Well, for these guys anyway.
We manage to give them places to sleep and we also manage to keep them fed, although barely so at times. Everybody is competing for food right now; I think it has to do with some instinct to fatten-up for winter.
Don't forget to get your feral cat calendar for 2013! It's not that far away, you know. Check out the link on the upper-right sidebar. There are two options this year. Personally, I think the Lulu calendar is more solid, but it's also plainer, so you have a choice.

A Peek At Napping Cat
Trying to avoid disturbing the poor thing, we peek at a napping orange feral cat. We've had occasional sun breaks lately and everyone tries to take advantage of them when they occur. Even when the air is cool, the sun feels so good on ones fur.
