Hipstamatic the Cat Break Time

Just Hipstamatic the torbie cat, taking a break from it all. There's always so much work to be done, you know.... like smelling things, and looking at stuff, and walking around to see what's happening. Sometimes you just need a break from it all.

Hipstamatic the Cat

She's grown! Named by a blog reader, Hipstamatic has had her life chronicled since her rough beginning as a sickly feral kitten. Today, she's all grown up and looking mature. ....And healthy.

Hipstamatic the Cat, Again

We catch this kitty in this pose on more than one occasion. She's a lovely tortie/torbie cat that was accidentally named Hipstamatic. Yeah, it's silly, but I explained why in another post. If you missed the story and don't feel like reading the linked post; it all started when I took a picture of her as a little feral kitten, using the Hipstamatic phone app, which I then posted on Flickr. Well, the title said "Feral Kitten Hipstamtic"  - I meant the phone app, but people thought it was her name. Oh well. I think it's kind of cute in a way.

The weather has been better the last few days and cats have been taking advantage of it all. Rainy weather is coming back soon, though. And as we all know, most cats don't like to get wet. In the meantime, though, it's fun in the sun.

The Cat Called Hipstamatic

Her name was an accident. Back when she was a little, sickly feral kitten I just happened to capture a picture of her on my phone using the Hipstamatic app.  It wasn't anything, really, but I posted on Flickr anyway, because I was kind of infatuated with faux lo-fi photography at the time. I posted her picture here and titled it Feral Kitten Hipstamatic -referring to the app I used. But then someone thought it was her name and I figured "why not?" So now that's what we call her. She's also our Halloween cat.

Hipstamatic is much healthier now, and has been photographed a few times as she has grown up. I think she's a pretty cat.
