Feral cat moms keep their babies pretty well hidden until they are just about ready to learn to start eating solid food. Even then, the best most cautious moms keep their kittens out of plain sight, in the shadows....
This little kitten is part of a litter of three survivors. I am guessing that it is about 5 or 6 weeks old. I am still trying to get a picture of the others but even with a very long telephoto lens it can be tough.
