This is the other half of the abandoned pair of kittens. The litter mate is the little tabby two posts below this. They miss their mommy.
This kitty is very young but momma cat is nowhere to be found. Fortunately, this kitty and his/her littermate are eating solid food and eagerly await my arrival twice a day. It's still very difficult for kittens this young to survive completely on their own.
Only time will tell....
Momma cat is probably roaming around looking for a mate for her next litter. She may come back to have her kittens in the same place if it was safe and there is food for her. Try to trap her to TNR--trap-neuter-return.
