Left Behind. But of course, readers of the Feral Life cat blog know that Dora the dilute tortie and her harlequin daughter Squeaky aren't left behind
anywhere ....No, instead, for the sake of art, I consider them to be
symbolic of all the cats who get left behind as people move on to other things in their lives. That part of the story is truly sad. The symbolic representation, though, is important.
