This orange/buff/beige feral tom cat keeps a close eye on me. He's one of those cats we only see occasionally. I'm sure he has better things to do than associate with people. Some of the feral cats have been pretty friendly (after all, they've known me all of their lives) and some just have a natural fearfulness that forces them to keep their distance. I try to respect the feelings of all animals.
