October Cat of the Month Calendar Wallpaper - Maine Coone Feral

A descendant of the great Willem DeKoonig cat, this one has beautiful eyes and and endless appetite.

The calendar wallpaper above is in the 16x10 ratio, like you find on Macbooks, iMacs and MS Surface tablets, plus many others, but I have the wider HD 16x9 format (used by many "HD" laptops and monitors) in the link below, along with  4x3 "TV" ratio and TWO mobile versions: One for phones and another for tablets! One of them will fit your computer or mobile device, for sure. Here's the link:

For Windows 10: Download the Cat of the Month anywhere (just remember where you put it!). Go to that folder, right-click the image and select "Save as desktop background..."

For Mac: Save the image of your choice, go to Settings/Desktop,  Screen saver/pick the your kitty as your wallpaper.

Mobile: Save to Camera Roll, Go to Settings, Wallpaper, and select the cat of the month as your wallpaper and lock screen.

Some examples of aspect ratios:
Wide/HD/16:9 - 1024×576, 1152×648, 1280×720, 1366x768, 1600×900, 1920×1080, 2560×1440 - HDTV
Wide 16:10 - 1280x800, 1440×900, 1680x1050, 1920×1200 - Macbooks,  iMacs + MS Surface etc
TV 4:3 - 640x480, 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1440x1152 etc. - older monitors and laptops, mostly
The size shown in italics above is the actual image size that I've linked to, but as long as you pick the right ratio it will look GREAT on your monitor using "Stretch" or "Fit to screen" as your option when you set an image as your wallpaper.

Thank you so much for sharing and supporting these beautiful feral cats. Because of you, good things happen.

I appreciate comments and questions. So please comment and share!

  2. You've had so many beautiful cats on your calendars, but this one is truly gorgeous. Then again, maybe it's because I've always loved and wanted a Maine Coon but at my age will not get the opportunity to get one. I still have 16 cats though.

  4. My brother and sis in law live near the lake and apparently folks tend to drop animals off around the lake. They now have 12 feral living under their storage trailer in the backyard. My brother has homes in big coolers with doors cut in them and straw inside. My sis in law feeds them two to three times a day. Brother claims they are the best fed homeless cats around. Mama cat came over a yr ago with a litter of four along with the other feral. Mark has caught and took all them off and had them fixed except Mama Cat, she was just to smart for that cage and in three different times of trying to trap I finally found directions on line for a drop trap. Mama Cat, after the second litter this yr was fixed yesterday. The last litter of four we socialized early, took them in and vetted and was able to find homes for them. We love our feral.
