Under houses and barns, under cars and farm equipment, anywhere that is unseen; a feral cat prefers the shadows and small spaces of the world. It's safer that way. And why take unnecessary chances?
This middle aged (or possibly even senior!) feral tortoise shell kitty has reached maturity by exercising caution. She's wary....
All her life, there has been someone providing food. She knows that and has a certain tolerance for people - as long as one doesn't approach her.
The world is full of scary things, large and small... mostly large. If you remain unseen, you have a chance at a little peace and quiet. If you are lucky, there will be only an occasional camera to disturb you.
